Once your child has been with us for a few weeks, she or he will need a uniform; uniform should be worn to every meeting for every section.
New members should wear comfy clothes for their first few meetings, suitable for sporty games.
What to buy?
Top half
Beavers wear the official blue sweatshirt
Cubs wear the official green sweatshirt
Scouts wear the official green shirt
Explorers wear the official brown shirt
Trousers
Dark blue activity trousers are recommended for all Beavers, Cubs & Scouts (and should be worn to all meetings unless specified otherwise). These can either be the official scout trousers or you can buy unbranded ones from outdoors stores (just make sure they are dark blue).
There is also a belt for Scouts.
Necker
Every invested member must wear a necker to every meeting. We provide the first one but if you need a new one, you will have to pay for it
Woggle
A woggle is a slide that holds the necker together. They must be worn to every meeting.
Your first woogle in each Section will be provided but if you lose it you will need to pay for a new one
Where to buy?
Uniform items can be bought from the below shops and websites. Please note that we strongly recommend you go somewhere you can try the Uniform on as the sizes do seem quite variable and its probably best to buy larger than your child currently needs so they have room to grow into it to avoid having to move all their badges to a larger uniform top or shirt.
